Light God’s World Academy
History
Light God’s World Academy was founded in 2010 with a mission to provide a faith-centered, excellence-driven educational experience for students. As a military family with 10 children, we sought an alternative to traditional schooling—one that would nurture both their academic growth and spiritual development. We thrive on consistency and schedule flexibility to meet the demanding life of military moves that have taken us across the U.S. and abroad. Our school focuses on character building, self motivation, teamwork, and innovation to include student led classes and year round coursework.
Philosophy
Light God’s World Academy is a faith-centered homeschool dedicated to advancing students in a holistic approach, setting them on a firm foundation from which they can grow and lead with efficient adaptation to change. Rooted in biblical truth, our mission is to cultivate hearts and minds that reflect God’s love, wisdom, and purpose. We believe that education is not only about knowledge, but also about character. We encourage students to excel in academics with emphasis on participation in extracurricular opportunities that aid in learning to lead, network and serve in the community.
Curriculum
At Light God’s World Academy, learning is a dynamic journey that integrates Scripture, strong academics, critical thinking, creativity, and real-world application. Hybrid instruction includes online and in-person course collaboration for subjects such as foreign language and math. We create an environment where curiosity thrives, individual strengths are celebrated, and students are empowered to discover their God-given calling.
